Former top Los Angeles Prosecutor Brian Michaels is proud to finally announce the opening of his Downtown Santa Barbara Office to service the needs of that community. Mr.Michaels is a 1988 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a proud Gaucho alum. Our office will be handling all Santa Barbara County Courthouses in addition to the Ventura Main Courthouse on any criminal matter from a DUI to major felonies. Mr. Michaels has long had close ties to the Santa Barbara Community and took his first law job defending the homeless for the Legal Defense Center of Santa Barbara. Michaels went on to work for iconic UCSB professor Walter Capps who later moved onto Congress as well as clerking for State Senator Gary Hart. Mr. Michaels, while an undergrad at UCSB also ran the campus Government internship program.
