Mr. Furlong was arraigned today on a new Domestic Violence case involving a former girlfriend. Based on information that was known to us prior to this recent arrest, Mr. Furlong recently learned that the District Attorney had purportedly filed a case against him in December. Contrary to press reports, Mr. Furlong did not miss a previously scheduled court date and the District Attorney specifically represented to our office, after offering to voluntarily surrender him last week, that they could find no record of any warrant and did not request his surrender.

Mr. Furlong appeared in court late this afternoon and was arraigned on the previously filed case as well as on the new arrest and bail was reduced. He is set to return to the Beverly Hills Superior Court later this month and is set to return for a potential Probation Violation Hearing in Van Nuys in mid February.

Reports have surfaced in the press that Mr. Furlong has now lost several movie deals as a result of this most recent case. My office has no knowledge of this, and any inquiries related to his employment as an actor should be addressed to his agent.
