There have been many conflicting reports about what the City of Los Angeles intended to do to enforce it's recently enacted ordinance effectively banning Medical Marijuana Disensaries in the City of Los Angeles. City Attorney Carmen Trutanich yesterday released a formal letter indicating the City would not be enforcing the ban for the next 15-45 days. Based on the content of the letter it is our view that the City will not in the near term or in the long term enforce the ban between now and next March. If elements of the LAPD are running enforcement actions inconsistent with the City Attorney's September 5th, 2012 letter of intent contact the Law Office of Brian Michaels immediately for assistance.
